The all-new 2021 Toyota Verso continues with upgrades. The third-gen Verso is a gorgeous minivan that offers plenty of high-tech features. Moreover, it looks attractive, and it offers a room for seven passengers. According to the latest reports, new Verso will arrive with mid-cycle refreshments. For a start, the exterior will be facelifted, and you can also expect numerous interior upgrades.
However, none of these changes are far from significant. Even the things under the hood are unchanged for 2021. That means there will be four engine choices as on the current model. New 2021 Verso minivan will go on sale later this year.
2021 Verso Exterior Facelift
The forthcoming 2021 Toyota Verso is getting an exterior facelift. For a start, the front will be heavily upgraded. That includes a new and larger bumper. Moreover, a new pair of headlights and more attractive grille are available. The same grille will wear more chrome accents than before. Dimensionally, nothing will change.
The 2021 Verso will be 174.8 inches long and 70.4 inches wide. To the sides, Verso comes with standard 16-inch alloy wheels or optional 17-inch rims. Impressively, Japanese manufacturer offers up to 11 exterior paints, and two of them will be brand-new.
Inside the cabin, a new 2021 Toyota Verso will offer more quality materials. The cabin is spacious, and it provides room for seven persons. That means the three-row seating layout remains once again. Legroom is ample, but only in the first two rows. The seats are very comfortable, especially the front two.
Thanks to the numerous packages, you can get heated front seats, leather upholstery, and new interior color schemes. As we said, Toyota offers plenty of high-tech amenities. A new 6.1-inch touchscreen is available, along with the three-zone climate control and three-spoke steering wheel. Moreover, Toyota will provide new driver-assistance aids.
Four Available Engines
Under the hood, the approaching 2021 Toyota Verso will offer the same engine lineup. The lineup consists of four available engines. The first engine option is a 1.6-liter with 132 horsepower. The second engine is optional, and it is a 1.8-liter that can produce up to 147 horses. Moreover, there will be two diesels in the offer. A 2.0-liter diesel comes with 126 horsepower.
The second option is a 2.2-liter powertrain that can deliver 177 hp. Diesels are providing a higher level of torque and better fuel economy ratings. All four engines are available with the same 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Lastly, Toyota will introduce a new suspension, which should result in better ride quality.
