The approaching 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will get further upgrades later next year. This minivan is one of the best choices you can find on the markets at the moment. Chrysler already delivers a relatively new all-wheel-drive system, and now the manufacturer will focus on high-tech features. That means you can expect significant technology updates, better updates and much more.
Basically, after improving the ride quality and new AWD system, Pacifica is becoming one of the most complete minivans. As for the hybrid, we don’t expect significant improvements at the moment. Furthermore, the hybrid version won’t depart from the base model in terms of design.
2021 Pacifica Hybrid Exterior Facelift
The upcoming 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will get more standard exterior features. On top of that, a new model will get mid-cycle improvements when it comes to styling and design. The platform remains, so there won’t be any type of dimensional changes. The shape is unchanged, as well. A new minivan will look more attractive, thanks to the latest updates. For a start, Pacifica Hybrid will ride on 20-inch wheels, and it will introduce additional carbon fiber materials.
Chrysler will also provide more aluminum, so the vehicle’s weight is slightly reduced. Aerodynamics are impressive, and new Pacifica will host longer bumpers. On top of that, the honeycomb grille pattern is now standard on all Pacifica Hybrid models. Moreover, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof is optional, along with the new Stow ‘n Place roof rack. Finally, this minivan comes with ten exterior color choices.
New Features and Optional Packages
On the inside, this minivan already looks upscale and attractive. It is one of the most modern interiors in the minivan segment. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid won’t depart from the base trim level in terms of cabin design. However, it does offer more standard equipment. Furthermore, after the popular blacked-out S Appearance Package, Chrysler will deliver a new Red S Appearance Package. This package is available on Pacifica Hybrid Limited models.
It comes with a new Rodeo Red Nappa Leather upholstery, red contrast stitching, gloss black finishes, new safety package, and premium audio system. For 2021, Pacifica will offer five different interior color schemes: Alloy, Black, Deep Mocha, Rodeo Red, and Toffee. The interior layout will remain, and a new minivan will provide an optional eight-seat configuration.
Thanks to the new AWD system, Pacifica minivan is already in front of its competitors. However, a hybrid powertrain is still the most significant advantage over its rivals. The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will use a 3.6-liter V6 engine mated to two electric motors. Total output is rated at 260 horsepower. A 16-kWh battery pack will provide an excellent electric range, and it can be fully charged in two hours, using the 240-volt power supply.
This minivan delivers 32 miles of electric range and 30 mpg on gasoline once the battery runs out of power. With the latest addition of new hybrid technologies, these figures aren’t that impressive. However, no one comes close to the Pacifica Hybrid in the minivan segment.
